Disabled refuge systems use Type B outstations which are hands free and somewhat similar to an intercom system. They can be operated using a touch button and will allow anyone waiting in a refuge area to communicate with the control room. They also include connections for an optional induction loop system as well as a general purpose output that closes on activation of the unit, allowing the optional connection of strobes, CCTV activation relays to be connected.
This is a surface mount version but you can also purchase a flush mount unit from us. They are also available in a more attractive brushed stainless steel finish, as either a surface mount unit or a flush mount.
